Warehouse Operative
Ballyfermot, Dublin • Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract to 31 December 2026, with the possibility of extension or permanency depending on business needs.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a reliable, adaptable and capable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ballyfermot. You will work as part of our warehouse team, helping to ensure the high standards of customer service we are known for are consistently met.
Peats is a well-established, family-owned distributor of AV & Consumer electronics products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with all incoming and outgoing orders and shipments
- Loading and unloading vans and trucks
- Distributing stock to storage locations within the warehouse
- Picking and packing goods for shipment
- General administration, including processing delivery dockets
- Assisting with stock-take duties as assigned
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse environment
- Complying with all Health & Safety requirements
- Carrying out other warehouse-focused duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Manual handling course completed and in date
- Physically able to safely lift goods of various sizes and weights
- Able to stand for the majority of the working day
Desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment
- Familiarity with modern warehouse practices
- Forklift licence an advantage, but not essential
