Peats has been part of Ireland’s technology landscape since 1969. Established as Peats Wholesale by Geoff and Isobel Peat, the business has grown into a trusted distribution partner, supplying globally renowned brands to Retailer partners and AV professionals across the country.
We’re still a family-run business at heart, and that shows in how we work: straightforward, reliable, and focused on long-term relationships.
Today, our business is built around two divisions: Peats AV and Peats CE. Together, they support our customers with the products, knowledge and practical help they need to grow. Our customers are at the heart of what we do, we have developed our company ethos and mission statement around that purpose:

What We Do
Peats AV
Peats AV provides a solution-based distribution service to a network of Professional AV/IT integrators, installers and technology partners across Ireland.
From concept to completion, we work closely with our partners to provide trusted advice, reliable products and the support needed to get projects delivered successfully.
We work across sectors like education, corporate, hospitality, retail and public sectors, helping deliver projects from start to finish. Our team supports everything from product selection, system design, training and after-sales support.
We hold strong local stock and operate from our Dublin HQ, which includes warehousing, a dedicated showroom and training facilities, making it easier for our partners to plan, deliver and complete their projects with confidence.
Peats CE
Peats CE focuses on consumer electronics, working with a network of Irish retailers and representing a range of well-known Global brands.
Our sales team works closely with retail partners to support day-to-day business. That includes product training, in-store support, display advice, and helping manage product ranges throughout their lifecycle.
We aim to make things simple! Ensuring the right products are available, well presented, and supported properly.
